The mandate of The Langley Community Chorus (LCC) is to act as a charitable organization to encourage and develop among members a delight and appreciation of the many aspects of vocal music through the preparation and presentation of public concerts entertainment and performances of choral works of all periods. To provide music in such institutions as Senior's residences Hospitals Schools and at Community Events. The mandate of The Langley Community Chorus (LCC) is to act as a charitable organization to encourage and develop among members a delight and appreciation of the many aspects of vocal music through the preparation and presentation of public concerts entertainment and performances of choral works of all periods. To provide music in such institutions as Senior's residences Hospitals Schools and at Community Events. To provide students from school choirs an opportunity to continue their participation in choral music. To provide bursaries for students of voice or choral conducting at the discretion of the Executive when sufficient funds are available. To provide an opportunity for the performance of Canadian choral music. To encourage the commissioning of new Canadian compositions.
New programs
We are continuing in person programs and are again performing in concerts for the public. We also are again performing as a smaller group for various Long Term Care facilities and in Community Events. We are hoping to launch a new collaboration with a youth choral group.
