Ongoing programs
The Huntsville Community Choir presented two choral music concerts to the general public in the Huntsville area. The Choir participated in the Huntsville Festival of Music and performed at its Concert of the Stars. The Choir supported the Festival with a donation to its awards program. Additionally the Choir funded a scholarship award through the Huntsville High School to a graduating senior demonstrating exceptional talent in vocal music programs.
New programs
The Huntsville Community Choir plans to perform mini-concerts within the community at area nursing homes retirement homes and service organizations. The Choir supports the community as a whole during the holiday tree lighting and at special seasonal events operated by the Town of Huntsville. The Choir anticipates a collaboration with the Whispering Pines Music orchestra in future concerts of classical music.
