Our 68thAnnual Juried Show was hosted by BURK'S FALLS ART & CRAFTS CLUB in MAGNETAWAN Ontario on 6-7TH September 2024. As it was our(NOAA's) 75th Anniversary it was an in person juried show and 40 paintings were chosen. Our two jurors chose 40 paintings from the 110 submitted from our 15 member clubs from across the north. our 68th AGM was held with approximately 30 member reps and guests in attendance. Our two jurors chose 40 paintings from the 110 submitted from our 15 member clubs from across the north. our 68th AGM was held with approximately 30 member reps and guests in attendance. Our yearly retreat in Cobalt Ontario resumed this July with 22 artist from across the north taking part in the workshop led by a guest artist in the latest in watercolour and acrylic techniques. Our member clubs took advantage of our VAP Visiting Artist Program and received assistance with their club workshops as well. Our member clubs are slowly resuming their memberships and club activities as the Pandemic wanes.
New programs
2024-2025 We Produced a 15 month calendar featuring one painting from each member club. These calendars were sold within the membership clubs and we are hoping it will be an ongoing yearly project and will be a source of income for the Northern Ontario Art Association as well as the member clubs. we sot out corporate sponsorships and were successful to a degree.
