THE PEACHLAND COMMUNITY ARTS COUNCIL CONTINUED TO BE VERY ACTIVE THIS YEAR. WE FEATURED NINE UNIQUE EXHIBITIONS IN THE PEACHLAND ART GALLERY SHOWCASING ALL MEDIUMS - INCLUDING PAINTING FIBRE ARTS SCULPTURE PHOTOGRAPHY. THE ART GALLERY IS RUN BY A TEAM OF 40 VOLUNTEERS. WE HOSTED OUR ANNUAL WEEK-LONG HEARTS FESTIVAL IN FEB. FEATURING ALL 12 OF OUR ARTS UMBRELLA ORGANIZATIONS. BOUCHERIE SECONDARY SCHOOL JAZZ BAND AND FEATURE MUSICIANS FROM THE OKANAGAN SYMPHONY AND KELOWNA MUSIC SCHOOL. OUR VOLUNTEERS GIVE OVER 8100 HOURS THEIR TIME TO DELIVER ALL OF OUR PROGRAMS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR.
