LOUD Art Society delivers transformative outcomes in mental health emotional well-being skill development and community resilience to at-risk youth through our Corner of Creativity program (6 week creative painting program) creative workshops (Kite-making journaling printmaking clay painting fibre arts photography and music) and community arts projects (murals and puzzle paintings). LAS’s commitment to supporting at-risk youth and vulnerable populations is central to its mission. The programs provide trauma recovery pathways for individuals who have experienced homelessness domestic violence or complex trauma. By offering non-traditional therapeutic methods LAS helps participants process difficult experiences and find healing through creativity. All programming is offered to groups of 10 or more participants. LAS also plays a crucial role in advocacy and awareness. Through exhibitions workshops and collaborations with policymakers and community organizations LAS highlights gaps in art accessibility mental health services and promotes inclusive supportive policies.
