M.A.C.I.S Mentoring Advocating Children and Youth Impacted by the Justice System (M.A.C.I.S.)- The M.A.C.I.S. program is a free 8-week after-school drop-in program for under-served and under-represented children and youth whose parents and/or close family members currently are or previously were incarcerated. Facilitators help youth to develop a positive peer to peer support system during weekly program activities and provide opportunities for participants to connect with external mentors who have gone through similar experiences. DWYL Do What You Love (DWYL) – D.W.Y.L. is free 8-week film and media training program for ten high-school artists. The program provides access to hands-on film and editing training intended to spark their artistic interests and support their personal and professional development in the film and media. Women In Arts – Empowerment Events Workshops and Seminars- The Women In Arts – Empowerment Workshops are subsidized monthly workshops designed to empower women by providing supporting their financial mental physical and social wellbeing. The Empowerment Workshops create a safe space where women of all cultures races and ethnicities come together in the spirit of kindness fellowship and mutual support. Through these workshops participants are introduced to various career options learning directly from women who are industry professionals in the areas of: science technology engineering and math (S.T.E.M.) health and wellness real estate arts sports and recreation hospitality entrepreneurship and marketing. Summer Sports Camp The Summer Sports Camp is a subsidized 8-week soccer and basketball camp for children 8-12. Participants focus on strengthening their soccer and basketball skills under the leadership and guidance of qualified camp counsellors. Namaste The Namaste program is a free yoga program for youth 10-18 years of age. The program promotes a healthy active lifestyle and removes the financial barriers to yoga participation. Participants learn the appropriate variations of yoga using minimal equipment. Phoenix Small Ball Development Program Phoenix Small Ball Basketball Development (PHXSB) program is a subsidized 8-week basketball development program for children ages 5-12 years of age. Sessions are led by qualified H5F coaches and mentors and focus on dribbling passing shooting agility teamwork self-discipline and patience.
