We continued the economic development program for the poor providing small business training using the Street Business School materials in Burundi.

Provided funding support to re-build the maternity wing of a hospital that was dangerously degraded such that women could not attend pre-natal services and give birth but rather would need to travel hours away to the next facility. Access to basic healthcare within a reasonable distance is seen as a basic necessity. The program also provided hot water for showers and healthcare and training space for patients and staff.
