Ongoing programs

The 2023-2024 Season was a busy development season as our next large show is in creation. We produced two workshops of our next large scale show The Fire Never Dies: the Tina Modotti Project which included free work in progress showings for the public; we presented a free community talk on the podcast we co-produced the previous year; we supported two works Diana Ross Dream and the development of a new Kidd Pivot show; we co-presented another year of the PXR virtual reality symposium and we again supported the Belfry Leadership training program for emerging IBPOC artistic leaders. The 2023-2024 Season was a busy development season as our next large show is in creation. We produced two workshops of our next large scale show The Fire Never Dies: the Tina Modotti Project which included free work in progress showings for the public; we presented a free community talk on the podcast we co-produced the previous year; we supported two works Diana Ross Dream and the development of a new Kidd Pivot show; we co-presented another year of the PXR virtual reality symposium and we again supported the Belfry Leadership training program for emerging IBPOC artistic leaders. Our community initiatives reached 2 800 people in person as well as an additional 1 800 audience members online. We employed 52 Artists (48 from BC) as well as 4 Staff and an additional 9 contract admin support positions. We are governed by a Board of 6 Volunteers with an addition 15 volunteers supporting shows.
