Ongoing programs

CLT produced a full season in 2023-2024 with performance runs of 'The Shoplifters' September 26-October 1 2023; 'Snow White' original script written and directed by Mandy Tulloch December 22-31 2023; and 'And Up They Flew' March 31-April 7 2024 at the Sid Williams Civic Theatre in downtown Courtenay. And Up They Flew was also entered for one performance at Portal Players' Capitol Theatre in Port Alberni May 24 2024 supporting our Theatre BC North Island Zone annual competitive festival. CLT also continued support for peer arts groups and other organizations in the Comox Valley regio Show more

CLT also continued support for peer arts groups and other organizations in the Comox Valley region with free loans of costumes props set pieces as well as rehearsal set building and meeting space at our leased warehouse space. 50-50 fundraising draws were held at all performances with proceeds going towards CLT programming.

New programs

A Strategic Planning process by and for the club was initiated during the season with a goal to find a new home for the CLT by the end of our five-year lease the means to expand our season programming and recruit and retain members including young theatre enthusiasts.
